Description
The VOLA BlackBox is the new generation of broadcast gateway for your LED panels. It replaces the Sender-Box and completely modernises signal transmission by switching to 100% Ethernet architecture.
Designed for timekeeping and sports event environments, it connects a computer to one or more panels via standard network infrastructures: switches, WiFi bridges or fibre optics.
This approach eliminates traditional distance constraints. The range between the source and the display now depends solely on your network, offering total flexibility in the field.
Use
The VOLA BlackBox integrates naturally into timing and LED display installations.
It transmits data from the VOLA software to the panels in real time, with no distance constraints. Whether in a stadium, in the mountains or on a large event site, broadcasting remains stable and fluid.
Thanks to its compatibility with Ethernet networks, it can be used with switches, WiFi bridges or fibre optics, offering great freedom of installation and organisation.
Technical specifications
The VOLA BlackBox is designed to ensure reliable and secure transmission of display streams.
It has an Ethernet input dedicated to VOLA software and an encrypted Ethernet output to guarantee data integrity.
Compatible with several input resolutions (up to 2048 × 668), it adapts to different LED panel formats.
Powered directly by the panel in 5V DC, it integrates easily into existing installations and ensures optimum continuity of service.
